Just Because I Care

Check out this cute little purse Beate used for her inspiration challenge this week. It's by Belle Bags.

I started with my colors first--Old Olive, So Saffron, Night of Navy, Not Quite Navy, and Tempting Turquoise. I then focused on the circle pattern and stamped the medallion from Baroque Motifs. I punched it out with my scallop punch, then layered it on larger circles using my Nesties. I colored the dots around the image with a clear glitter pen, then added rhinestones for more sparkle.

The sentiment, "Just because I care," is one I think I'll be using a lot lately. We've had several health-related issues at my school recently, both with parents and students, so I've been sending out a bunch of cards like this one.

Stamps: Baroque Motifs & Best Yet (SU)
Paper: Old Olive, So Saffron, Night of Navy, Not Quite Navy, Tempting Turquoise

Ink: Old Olive, Night of Navy
Accessories: scallop punch, Nestabilities, rhinestones (Me & My Big Ideas), ribbon (The Ribbon Retreat), clear glitter pen (Spica)

Oh my, just love this card. I'd say you nailed this challenge. The Baroque's motif is the perfect as are the colors!

I also checked out this inspiration piece on Beate's blog. I love the colors. And you captured both the colors and the design in your card. Nice.
