Chillin Challenge CASE

I should know better than to try to work on a card when the mojo is not there (and when I'm tired). I end up with cards like this one. I was casing this week's featured stamper, Shannon, and it did not turn out nearly as cute as the original.

My troubles started when I switched Shannon's large square card to a standard A2 card. I realized too late that the ribbon and sentiment wouldn't fit. Then I decided to eliminate the layer underneath the snowflakes. Then I added an extra panel to the snowman image. I used a glitter pen on the image, but it didn't give the snowman as much oomph as I thought it would (and you can't even see it in the picture anyway). Yuck!

Stamps: Let It Snow (Hero Arts)
Paper: Baja Breeze, Old Olive, Ruby Red, Whisper White, Holiday Treasures dp
Ink: Ruby Red
Accessories: Martha Stewart snowflake punch, glitter pen (Spica), dimensionals, Dew Drops (Robin's Nest)

Oops! I guess they're not felt snowflakes, but they look just like the new SU ones...so it's good to know in case I want to make more snowflakes and in different colors! *wink*
