One World One Heart 2011

I'm SO excited I'm able to participate in this year's One World One Heart event! (If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you can read all about it here.) This is my second year participating, and I'm looking forward to meeting a bunch of new bloggers and reconnecting with familiar ones. 

If you are new to my blog, WELCOME! I hope you'll take a look around and come back to visit me again! Here's a little bit about me: I have been a paper crafter for about 6 years & a blogger for 2 years. I mostly make greeting cards, but I also enjoy making the occasional gift or special gift packaging. I have a very clean & simple style, & I believe one can never have enough ribbon or bling.

As part of this event, I'm offering up some goodies. My giveaway is open to EVERYONE worldwide (whether you are an actual participant or not) with an active blog only.

One World One Heart 2011

This year marks the fifth (and final) One World One Heart, an event for bloggers worldwide to meet & share their creative passions. Last year over 1000 bloggers joined in, sharing a bit of themselves & offering a giveaway on their blogs.

Think of it as a GIGANTIC open house allowing you to travel the world without ever leaving your home...going from blog to blog, seeing the beauty everyone has created and meeting all the fabulous people behind those blogs.

A Card and An Announcement

Happy Sunday! I'm battling a cold, so I haven't been creating much lately. I thought I'd share a simple card I made last week using FTL74. Sorry the photo's not great...it's been rainy and foggy for the past several days...hubby and I were trying to remember when we last saw the sun...

One World-One Heart

Thanks to my day off from school, today I had time to do some serious blurfing. I was fortunate enough to stumble across the One World-One Heart blog.


This is a worldwide blogging event that is taking place January 19-February 12. Instead of trying to explain it all to you, I'll share an excerpt from Lisa S., the creator of One World-One Heart:
