The Road Less Traveled

Hi, all! Happy Tuesday! It's a nice feeling knowing that I only have a four-day work week ahead of me. Woohoo for three-day weekends!

I had fun combining three challenges for this card--this week's
Mojo Monday sketch, the Stamp Something challenge to use brown, and the Caardvarks challenge to use some fun ribbon. This is one of my favorite sentiments from Verve...Iwon't get all English teacher on you, but just know Robert Frost is my favorite poet. :)

Stamps: Beautiful You (Verve)
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Aqua Mist, SU dp

Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: SU ribbon, leaf punches, dimensionals

I LOVE Robert Frost. I have actually memorized a few of his poems. Being a native New Hampshire girl, I think that's a requirement :-) How fun that you were able to incorporate a quote with your leaves. So appropriate. And the houndstooth background is a great compliment.

Love what you did with the ribbon! I might have to find that punch. Very well balance card. I love it. I think it is hard to make a big sentiment look good on the front but you used it perfectly!

What a marvelous fall card!! Love that yummy houndstooth! And I love that Robert Frost poem too! Did you see the ads for that new Jane Campion film about Keats? DH is not a huge fan of Keats, but he said he would go with me. I love the costume period piece movies!
