Fall Greetings

Just playing with my new Cuttlebug folder, Autumn Type. I used a technique called negative Cuttlebug effect, which was featured as one of the TLC challenges a while back on Splitcoast.

If you've never tried this technique, here's how:
1. Take your CB folder and open it so the negative side (the side with the CB logo) is facing down on your table.
2. Ink up the negative side using a brayer.
3. Lay your cardstock on top of the inked side, close the folder and run it through your CB as you normally would.
4. Wash your folder ASAP to avoid staining. I've never had a problem with staining, even with darker colors.

This is a great technique because it's simple, yet it makes such a cool effect on your cards.

Stamps: none
Paper: Really Rust, Whisper White, assorted cardstock (for leaves)
Ink: Really Rust
Accessories: Cuttlebug Autumn Type, small & large leaf punches (Marvy Uchida), ribbon (Michael's)

A really beautiful Fall card. I really like the one color with the white on this. A great technique to use here.
