I was in the Verve forum today on Splitcoast, and I noticed the August Project Parade challenge , based on this yummy picture. The challenge was to use shades of pink & brown in your design. I decided to combine this challenge with Beate's weekend sketch challenge. (So glad she is back from her summer break!)I used some scraps of retired SU dp and my new scallop punch to create the Close to Cocoa layers. I also pulled out some Flirty ribbon (also retired SU) and Aged Copper Hodgepodge Hardware (again, retired SU). I thought these little cupcakes (colored with my new Copics) were perfect for such a yummy inspiration picture, and since I've been in a blingy mood lately, I topped each one off with a pink rhinestone.
Stamps: Clear Cupcakes (Hero Arts)
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, SU dp
Ink: Adirondack Pitch Black, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Copic markers (E31, R32, RV04), ribbon (SU), Aged Copper Hodgepodge Hardware (SU), scallop punch, dimesionals, rhinestones (The Paper Studio)
