Sweet Snowman

Today's ways to use it challenge was definitely a challenge. You had to incorporate something from your spice rack (or a food item from your pantry) into your card. After several failed attempts with a cinnamon stick, food coloring, and dry pasta, I finally came up with an idea. There's the old adage, "Write what you know." Well, I decided to craft what I know--sugar. I combined it with my passion for snowmen. (I have so many snowmen that when I put them out on display each winter, my husband refers to them as my "snowmen army." I think he's afraid they'll come alive one day. But I digress. Back to the card.) I dotted 2-way glue on some of the snowy areas, then sprinkled the sugar on top. Yummy!

Stamps: A Beautiful Season (SU)
Paper: Night of Navy, Whisper White
Ink: Night of Navy
Accessories: Cuttlebug Swiss Dots, ribbon (Dollar Tree), 2-way glue, sugar

That is a clever idea! I would have to make sure an army of ants wouldn't come visit my snowman, tho!
