Wee Memories Challenge 35

Hi there! It's time for another fun Wee Memories challenge!

Before I get to the challenge, I want to mention our AWESOME sponsor, Limelight Papercrafts! Mandy is in the process of making some great changes in her life, so she's announced she'll soon be closing her doors...head over to Limelight now for the best selection...there are LOTS of great deals to be had!

Our winner for this challenge will win a patterned paper prize pack!

So, on to the challenge...this week we are asking you to choose a favorite designers and CASE one of their creations!

Now I don't know about you, but I have a BUNCH of designers that inspire me, so it was a toughie trying to pick just one...and then I had to choose ONE card to CASE! Yikes!

Eventually, I settled on Dawn McVey. She's one of the designers who helped me learn that I could step up my cards a notch or two, yet still remain true to my CAS style. I chose this fun little number as my inspiration.

And here's my interpretation. As you can see, I used the same colors, stamp set, the damask pattern, & dress form die. I used more aqua (one of my favorite colors), glittered paper, & stick pins to glam it up a bit. I really love how it turned out, & I think it'll make a fabulous birthday card for a girly girl.

So, are you ready to play along with us? CASE a creation by your favorite designer, then link it up on the Wee Memories blog. You have until midnight PST on Fri., Dec. 17 to be eligible for the prize.

I can't wait to see your favorite designers & how you interpret their work! Have fun!

Stamps: Dress Form (PTI)
Paper: Old Olive, Cool Caribbean, PTI white, Doodlebug glittered paper
Ink: Old Olive
Accessories: Dress Form die (PTI), Michaels ribbon, Nestabilities circles, Maya Road & JoAnn stick pins, dimensionals

This is beautiful, my favorite touch is those stick pins. Thanks for reminding me to pull some out. Still sad to hear about Limelight, but excited for Mandy too!
