A couple of months ago, I joined a blogging group on Splitcoast. We call ourselves Card Crazy Chicks, and twice a month, one of us hosts a challenge on our blog. This time it's my turn, and I'm hosting an inspiration challenge.I chose this girl's bedroom I found on the Green Apple Design website. I was drawn to the colors and soft look of the room.
I love the built-in bookcases and window seat, and I thought the French memo boards made an interesting pattern on the wall.
For the starting point on my card, I pulled some of the colors from the room. Then I used my Nestabilities Labels 1 (a new purchase from i {heart} papers--love that place!) to mimic the shape of the white fabric draped over the bed. I wanted my butterflies floating across the card to reflect the butterflies hanging from the bedroom ceiling. Use this bedroom as the inspiration for your card. You may use the colors, layout, style--anything that inspires you. There are no rules; no card is "wrong." Follow the inspiration wherever it takes you.
