Laura's Sketch #10

I really liked Laura's sketch this week over at 2 Sketches 4 You. It's very basic, so it allowed me to play with it a bit. I'd been itching to use my new Hawaii Papaya paper from Stampin' Up, so I pulled it out for this sketch. I'm not a big fan of orange, but I'm really loving Tangerine Tango paired with Chocolate Chip. I used a retired SU punch since the flowers matched so well with the pattern on the dp. Some ribbon, Hodgepodge Hardware, Dew Drops, and buttons finish it off.

Stamps: Trees, Birds, and Messages (Hero Arts)
Paper: Tangerine Tango, Hawaii Papaya dp (SU)
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: spring bouquet punch (SU), large oval punch, Aged Copper Hodgepodge Hardware, buttons (Oriental Trading Co.), ribbon (Dollar Tree), Dew Drops (Robin's Nest)

    Fantastic card!! Love how you echoed the flowers in the paper with the flower punch, and worked in some hodgepodge hardware to boot! Love it!

    Lovely card. Those flowers are perfect with the papers and I loike the perfect bow and the buttons and the frame.
