Papertrey January Blog Hop Challenge

It's the 25th of the month, which means it's time for the Papertrey blog hop! This month Nichole challenged us to dust off an old stamp set or use a set that has never seen ink.

I chose to use my Everyday Button Bits set. When I first got this set, I used it all the time, but I haven't used it much lately...AND I think I've only inked up these hot air balloons once, so I figured it was time.

Since I was using something old, I also pulled out some new (to me) products--the Up, Up, & Away sentiments set & the cloud dies.

Tip: For perfect placement of your dies, simply place them where you want them on the cardstock, then cover them with a Post-It note. Your die will stay in place, & the Post-It is easily removed.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you like it!

Stamps: Everyday Button Bits; Up, Up, & Away sentiments (PTI)
Paper: Spring Rain, white
Ink: Adirondack Espresso, Real Red
Accessories: Cloud dies, ribbon, buttons (all PTI)

Roll on summer with blue skies and fluffy clouds. This is a lovely card and your tip for the dies is great because tape sometimes damages the surface.

This is so cute! I regretted not buying this set. My mom bought it and I played with it while we were in the States. I thought it would get it out of my system, but nope! It's still adorable! :-)

Love this card... I've been on the fence forEVER about everyday button bits! But I'm sure that eventually I'm going to "NEED" to get them!! :) Great tip about the Post-it.... I have done that, or even just a loop of regular scotch tape to hold the die to the paper, as long as it will be on the throw-away part. :)
