Grateful for You

Hey there! Hope you're having a fabulous weekend! Today is the last day to enter my twine giveaway. I'll announce the winner tomorrow.

I'm gearing up for the BIG game this afternoon...Bears vs. Packers...such a huge rivalry anyway, but now they're playing for a spot in the Super Bowl! I can't wait! GO BEARS!

Today's card is for two challenges: The Play Date Cafe Challenge 65 & Card Patterns Sketch 99. I was a little scared of these colors at first, but I love the way it turned out! 

I made the flower with my Nesties, then flicked the edges of each layer with my fingernail until they began to peel apart. I thought about adding some leaves, but then I found this gorgeous green silk in my ribbon stash, so I used it instead.

    This is a stunning card! I love the row of pearls, with the orange above. But that flower, combined with the beautiful ribbon are my favorite elements. Love how you created the flower, thanks for sharing!

    Wow Ann, this is so beautiful, the bloom is just off the charts! I'm not too much of a football fan, but I can't leave without saying GO PACK GO! just for rivalry sake. If we both have to endure this cold, why not?
