Hey, all! How are things? I've been busy, busy, busy here. First quarter grades were due last week & parent-teacher conferences are this week, so I have LOTS to do for school and not much time for crafting. Hoping to squeeze in a couple of challenges, though...we'll see...
I did find time this weekend to work on a Halloween treat bucket for my niece--including some ribbon embellished hair ties for her.
They are super simple to make: just take a plain elastic hair tie and wrap ribbon around it in a repeating pattern.
I made one using her favorite colors...
one using her school colors...
And another one using her gymnastics color, purple...similar to this one I made last year.
She requested more after I made the purple one last year, so I'm sure she'll be thrilled to get these.
Have a good week!
Accessories: assorted ribbons, elastic hair ties

The hair ties are so cute.
I do these for Olivia to coordinate with her favorite outfits. ;)
Cute! What a fun idea!! I'll have to try it for my nieces :)
Soo sweet Ann:)
This makes me smile as my daughter (14) made a hair tie very similar to your second photo. Blues, Yellows and Whites all ready for her touch footy team. Lovely hairties.
These are such a fun idea! So cute :)
Oh so fun! I loved these when I was in Junior High... oh so long ago! ;-)
Love the hair bows! These are so fun and delightful.
