Today I thought I'd share a special card I made for my sister. She found out recently that a short story of hers is being published! She--like most English teachers I know--has dreamed about being an author for years, and now it's official! Woohoo!
Aren't these stamps the cutest? I really can't resist fruity stuff or Kawaii-style faces OR puns, so I just had to own this set (another goody I picked up at CHA).This card reminded me of a joke we used to tell in elementary school:

This card is so sweet. I do remember this poem from when I was little. I got about 7 inches cut off at the beginning of summer. Not by choice. It was supposed to be a trim. :(
