Happy Groundhog Day! Well, that darn Phil has gone and seen his shadow, which means 6 more weeks of winter...but I say don't listen to some silly rodent! Spring is on its way!
My card today reflects that positive thinking...I used my new Hero Arts poppy stamp and some spring colors. I added a bit of Stickles to some of the flowers to give it a bit of sparkle. (It's really dreary here today, so forgive the dark pic.)
I can't wait to be able to take long walks again with my hubby and our pup. What are you most looking forward to about spring?
Stamps: Poppy Background (Hero Arts)
Paper: Lavender Lace, Old Olive, PTI white
Ink: Lavender Lace

love tasha xx
So pretty! The colors are lovely. I love the budding flowers that come with spring (not the allergies that come along with them, but oh well, gotta take the good with the bad). It's just like everything comes back to life in the spring. I love it!
Seeing the sun. I drive to and from work in pitch dark. I've heard that the sun does make an appearance, but I've yet to see it.
Very cute, love the purple and green color combo.
This is STUNNING! Absolutely love this, Ann! :)
Hmm... What am I looking forward to most about spring? The days starting to get longer, and the warmer temps... Such a perfect time of year! :)
Your card is darling Ann!! Hang on there...Spring is on its way :)
Love the touch that the stickles gives it and I agree with you about that silly rodent!
Fabulous card (and a nice breath of fresh spring air)! I love the stickles as a flower detail, what a great idea!
So bright and cheerful! Very pretty :)
I am admitedly, not a purple gal. But this card is super cute and I love the pairing of purple with green! The clean and simple design draws me in! I am most looking forward to being able to take my son outside to run off his excess energy!
Ooooh, so pretty! Me likey!
Bravo, to you and positive thinking - SPRING, SPRING, SPRING! Yeah, baby! I'm in! {I've had it with the mud and the muck and I'm ready for FLOWERS! Thanks for the delightful poppy surprise! This is so pretty! I just love this shade of purple and those flowers. I love the the longer days and nature coming back to life.
Lovely and springy! I, too, long for less gray and cold.
So pretty! I love the colors and thanks for the reminder that Spring is coming! I can't wait! :)
Your card is quite beautiful, Ann! I just love its simple elegance!
Spring.......while I'm not looking forward to my year round allergies getting even worse in the spring, I do so look forward to the driving down the street that leads to my street as its lined by cherry blossom trees and when they are blooming, it looks like you are floating through pink clouds. People two towns over can probably hear me sneezing, but I do still really adore that part of spring and the town I live in. I am also really looking forward to a veggie garden!! We used to keep one up, but haven't the last couple of years and I really miss that. So, I'm tapping my toes in a Happy Dance for its return! :>
OH please let spring come...we've just had another dollop of snow today. And I thought the scary driving conditions were over..
I'll be looking forward to lighter nights and not spending all my daylight at work!
Gorgeous card too btw - you totally work that scary purple (I'm still too scared of that colour LOL!)
x
Gorgeous!
I am looking forward to windows down!! I love riding with the windows down!! Reminds me of the motorcycle days I guess!?!?!
