Sweet 16

Hey there! I've got a fun card to share with you today. A friend at work asked me to make a 16th birthday card for her niece. Her only requests were bright pinks/greens and some sparkle. I immediately thought of this patterned paper and hoped I had a scrap big enough. I made it sparkly by drawing on the white lines with a glitter pen, then added the glittered Thickers and some rhinestones. She loved it, and I hope her niece will, too!

What are you up to this weekend? Today I'm heading to a fall celebration called the
Apple & Pork Festival. As the name implies, it's all about the food, although they've got a flea market, craft show, entertainment, etc. They also have the best apple cider I've ever tasted! Hope you've got some fun planned, too!

Stamps: A Little Birthday Cheer (SU)
Paper: Basic Black, PTI white, Bazzill Swiss Dot, The Paper Studio dp
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Nestabilities circles & scalloped circles, American Crafts Thickers, Kaisercraft rhinestones, dimensionals,
corner rounder punch

{Yummm ~ distraction alert! Did you say the best apple cider, ever!?!}

This is sooooo cute! I've been so pre-occupied with trying to tackle "boy" card possibilities of that approximate age group: I never thought about the GIRLS! *Gasp!* {That could be equally taxing!} So, yes, MA'AM! That is some might fine, sparkly card out-put if ever there was some! "16" what a sparkly age, anyhow: it's perfect Ann! You ROCKED that request, no doubt!

Fab teenage card. This would be a perfect idea for my nephew who will be 21 - except I do think I would change the color scheme :-)
