A Stitch in Time

Happy Monday! Time for another CAS challenge. This week we're asking you to use stitching--real or faux--on your card.

After seeing Dawn's post about playing with patterns, I decided I could use pattern to create a quilted look--perfect for stitching, right? I pieced together some scraps and added some faux stitching. In keeping with the sewing/quilting theme, I decided to use a crocheted flower from Paper Blooms. I chose a sentiment with a cursive font, since old school quilters/sewers/crocheters always did handwritten letters with lovely penmanship.

Wanna play along with us? Head over to the CAS forum for all the details.
Stamps: Everyday Occasions (Hero Arts)
Paper: PTI white, SU dp
Ink: Certainly Celery
Accessories: scalloped edge punch, white gel pen, paper piercer, flower (Paper Blooms), button (PTI), pearl (Kaisercraft)

Very cute! Love the pastel colors! I need to get my pretty flowers that you gave me out and play with them. I don't normally reach for my flowers... I think I hoard them but i did look through them the other day and had forgotten about the great flowers you sent me. I definitely need to show them some love!
