The BIG Challenge

Hi, all! Time once again for another CAS challenge. I guarantee this week's theme will challenge just about every single one of you: create a masculine card. Creating masculine cards seems to be a universal struggle, SO I expect to see many of you playing along and challenging yourself to make one. At the very least, I'd hope you'd stop by the CAS28 gallery to check out what everyone else makes for this challenge. I'm sure it's one you'll want to bookmark and come back to again for inspiration.

I chose to create a birthday card, since that's the type of card I send most often to men. I used some Bitty Box Basics paper to create some panels, then added a simple sentiment and corduroy brad. Easy peasy!

I hope to see you playing along with this week's challenge. Head over to the SCS CAS forum for details.

Stamps: A Little Birthday Cheer (SU)
Paper: Basic Gray, PTI white, PTI dp

Ink: Basic Gray

Accessories: brad (SU)

Honestly, the word that popped into my head was a very enthusiastic NEAT! I love the rectangles of grid paper and the button...a very guy-pleasing card!

I like the combination of the grid pattern on the paper with the texture of the brad. Simple and clean. Perfect for a guy who doesn't like "fussy" cards.

Hey can I play? I made an Uber CAS masculine card that I was kinda proud of yesterday - I can totally agree with how tough they are! Your card totally rocks - I opted for the PTI paper too on mine!
Well I hope your first day back at school goes smoothly!

Really cool! I hate making man cards!! I've even had people ask me to make one for them to give to a man and I refused. However, I have one to make this week for someone, so I will definitely do this challenge!
