Another Masculine Card

I needed another quick masculine card today, and I decided to add some distressing to the edges to fit this week's CAS challenge. I wasn't sure how to incorporate distressing and keep it clean, so I just kept it super simple. The card base is textured to make it a little more interesting.

Stamps: Lovely as a Tree
Paper: Old Olive textured, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: distressing tool

Lovely card Ann -

Lovely as a tree always works so well for masculine cards and the CAS style always seems to work for the men as well.

Your understated distressing worked well too.

Thanks for sharing - Jean

I love distressed edges!!! Your card is so clean and fresh Annie! :D Your work is true proof that embellishments are overrated, as yours brings so much focus to the stamped image. :D

This is my favorite tree image. The colors are great. You did the same thing that I did with my distressed challenge... just a bit around the edges. It does lend to the more rugged, masculine feel though.
