I'd been looking for ways to incorporate more writing into my routine, when yesterday I stumbled across Emily's 52Q challenge. She poses a question each week, then you answer it through art journaling. I've never done anything like this before, but I knew this would be a fun new challenge for 2009.
Here's the cover to my mini art journal.
I made my own cards (about the size of playing cards) from white cardstock. I'll bind the whole thing together with ribbons when I'm finished.
Question 1: What do I wish for this year to bring?
I chose to write the question on the front of the card...
...and my journaling on the back.
For this first question, I chose to incorporate my one little word for 2009: balance. (If you don't know about Ali Edwards' one little word project, visit her blog for more details.) I hope to balance out all the areas of my life this year: work, relationships, faith, health, finance, and relaxation.
