Bright Birthday Wish

Today I need to finish the last piece of the Christmas puzzle--cleaning the house. Not my favorite activity, so I thought I'd do what I do best--procrastinate!

I decided to check out the Holiday Challenge Extravanganza on Splitcoast. Each day they're offering an extra challenge in addition to the usual daily challenges.

Today's challenge was to make a birthday card using one piece of designer paper, two colors of cardstock (not including a neutral), and 3 punches. Ribbon was the only embellishment allowed. I got to play with my new pack of BasicGrey paper I picked up at Michael's yesterday with my 50% off coupon. I {heart} this paper!

This card was so quick and easy, I may be using this formula again in the next couple of weeks. I need a batch of cards for all those January birthdays.

Stamps: Small Script (SU)
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, BasicGrey Urban Prairie dp
Ink: Tempting Turquoise
Accessories: ribbon (Dollar Tree), designer label punch, circle punch, ticket corner punch, dimensionals

Great color combo. And you know I love that Ribbon.
Basic grey DP has become my fave background paper to use! This pad is one I don't have! Now I am going to have to get this one too!
