Deer Friend

My biggest struggle in making cards is the layout. I do sketch challenges all the time to help myself out, but sometimes I still draw a blank. Today, however, I had a rare moment of "layout clarity."

I had a massive headache, so I tried to nap, and as I lay there, with my head pounding and my mind almost in dreamland, this layout came to me. I saw the stamp peeking through the layer of green, with the scallop around it and the Swiss Dots in the background. Thank you, stamp fairy, for bringing me this layout!

Don't forget: Sign up to win my Christmas blog candy!

Stamps: Deer Friends (SU)
Paper: Real Red, Garden Green, Whisper White
Ink: Real Red, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Cuttlebug Swiss Dots, circle punches, scallop circle punch, dimensionals, brads (The Paper Studio), ribbon (Hobby Lobby)
