Snowflake & a Sketch

I loved Beate's sketch challenge this week, and I knew I wanted to break out the felt ribbon I picked up at Michael's a while back. I also chose some SU gingham ribbon. Next I embossed the chipboard snowflake with Winter Wonderland powder (very sparkly IRL), then weaved some silver cording through a button and adhered it to the snowflake. I embossed the green panel with my Swiss Dots folder, then finished it off with a few brads.

Although it may seem early for wintry cards, the forecast for tomorrow calls for snow flurries! Yikes!

Paper: Garden Green, PTI white
Ink: Versamark
Accessories: Winter Wonderland ep (Stampendous), chipboard snowflake & button (Oriental Trading Co.), silver cording & felt ribbon (Michael's), gingham ribbon (SU), Cuttlebug Swiss Dots, brads (The Paper Studio)

very sweet - love the glittery snowflake and all the texture from the embossing - you are inspiring me to get started on my holiday cards... I am kinda resisting though - I am still in denial that summer is over - I went grocery shopping in my flip flops and came home with cold blue toes... I am not ready to admit that fall is bowing out soon too! but your card has so much holiday cheer - that I might have to get organized and get some holiday cards going :)
thanks for the inspiration Ann!!!
best wishes,
Sankari :)
