Mmm...Scented Candles

Since Labor Day is now over, I consider it official: fall is here. One of the things I love to do once fall arrives is burn scented candles. On a cool Saturday afternoon, the glow of the flame and the spicy scent in the air relaxes me.

I found these pumpkin pie scented candles at Michael's for just $1 each, so I bought a batch, knowing they'd be easy to decorate if I needed a quick gift. You can see how I decorated the top with just some patterned paper, punches, and a stamp, then distressed the edges with a sanding block. I added double ribbon around the glass as a finishing touch.

I also bought some apple scented candles and plan to
create some cute gifts using the Tart & Tangy set. I also have a couple of vanilla candles (and I saw peppermint white chocolate ones at Jeffrey Alan's 3 for $4) which I plan to use for Christmas gifts.

Stamps: Fall Season (Inkadinkado)
Paper: Naturals Ivory, Pumpkin Pie, Close to Cocoa, Close to Cocoa dp
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: sanding block, scallop circle punch, circle punches, gingham ribbon (Hobby Lobby), polka dot sheer ribbon (Offray)
