I am very happy with this card, considering how it all started. I decided to try the Meet the Verve Divas challenge this week. When I found out that the challenge involved blindly pulling 3 patterned papers from my scrap pile and using them on a card, well, let's just say I was a bit nervous.
Boy, did I luck out. I pulled the black & white piece, then the orange, and then--while holding my breath and wincing--pulled out the green. A perfect color combo for a Halloween card! I used Beate's weekend sketch challenge for my layout, and I love the way it turned out.
Stamps: Happy Halloween (Hero Arts)
Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, BasicGrey Boxer (green), Summer Picnic (orange), KI Memories (black & white)
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: ribbon (Hobby Lobby), photo corners punch, metal dots (Colorbok), dimensionals
