The Giving Tree

Here's another VSN challenge card. This one asked you to create a card based on one of your favorite children's picture books. If you've ever read The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, then you'll relate to this card and its sentiment. I love this bittersweet story about a selfless tree that offers all it has to a little boy.

The tree image was an obvious choice, and I thought this sentiment fit well with the theme of the story. I added my new Maine Blueberry dp from Stampin' Up, distressed the edges, and added a bit of Hodgepodge Hardware as a finishing touch.
