Hey, all! How are things? I've been busy, busy, busy here. First quarter grades were due last week & parent-teacher conferences are this week, so I have LOTS to do for school and not much time for crafting. Hoping to squeeze in a couple of challenges, though...we'll see...
I did find time this weekend to work on a Halloween treat bucket for my niece--including some ribbon embellished hair ties for her.
They are super simple to make: just take a plain elastic hair tie and wrap ribbon around it in a repeating pattern.
I made one using her favorite colors...
one using her school colors...
And another one using her gymnastics color, purple...similar to this one I made last year.
She requested more after I made the purple one last year, so I'm sure she'll be thrilled to get these.
This makes me smile as my daughter (14) made a hair tie very similar to your second photo. Blues, Yellows and Whites all ready for her touch footy team. Lovely hairties.
The hair ties are so cute.
ReplyDeleteI do these for Olivia to coordinate with her favorite outfits. ;)
ReplyDeleteCute! What a fun idea!! I'll have to try it for my nieces :)
ReplyDeleteSoo sweet Ann:)
