Relax, Man

Hi, all! This blog post is most certainly cursed. The first time I tried to photograph this card, my camera batteries died. By the time I'd recharged them, the sun had gone away. Then Blogger decided to go on the fritz and just now started working again...it's been down since last night--SO frustrating! I haven't been able to moderate comments, post, or comment on anyone else's blog. BUT hopefully the problem is now fixed.

Anyhoo, enough about my problems...I've got a masculine card to share with you today...a Father's Day card for my FIL. His birthday is next week, so I need to get going on a card for that, too...

I did a bunch of challenges for this one: Curtain Call Color Challenge 33, CPS170, Caardvarks embossing challenge, Really Reasonable Ribbon challenge #1--masculine, and Paper Players 1--Father's Day/masculine. Hope you like it!

Stamps: On My Couch, Day at the Beach (PTI)
Paper: Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, PTI white, SU pp
Ink: Night of Navy
Accessories: Cuttlebug Swiss Dots, SU ribbon, dimensionals, Martha Stewart scallop dot punch

  1. Glad you were finally able to post, Ann, cuz' this is CUTE---well for a guy's card, we won't tell him it's "cute"! I did hear others were having blogger issues too! I just found another challenge you could use this for at Really Reasonable Ribbons--they have one for a masculine card using ribbon! You can see it HERE!

  5. Ann, maybe your technology was telling you to take a rest :-) I'm so pleased you were finally able to post this fabulous card. Your paper piecing is as masterclass. the masculine stripes really remind me of pyjamas or a striped shirt. Really masculine feel. Love it.
