Sweet 3x3's

This week's CAS challenge is a sketch based on this card by krystie lee.

As many of you know, I'm a teacher, and during the school year, I often give my co-workers cards & treats. So, I created a set of 3x3 cards to have on hand.

I used the same basic design, just changing colors and sentiments to mix it up a bit. I think I may also do an even simpler 3x3 with just a Prima and a sentiment.

I always find myself in need of little cards like these, but I don't always have time to make them during a typical hectic work week. So, I figure if I stock up now, I'll have a decent stash in my desk drawer that should last me for most of the year.

I'll pair each card with a fun size candy bar or other small treat for a quick pick me up or thank you.

Are you inspired yet? I hope you'll play along with this week's sketch. Head over to the Splitcoast CAS forum for all the details.

Stamps: Essential Sentiments (MFT)
Paper: Basic Gray, PTI white, SU dp (pink & blue), unknown dp (yellow)
Ink: Basic Gray
Accessories: Martha Stewart classic butterfly punches, ribbon (SU), pearls (Michaels)

  8. I have used a similar sketch to this a few times. I love how it showcases whatever iamge and sentiment you use right there in the middle with lots of "white" to make it CAS. I will definitely be participating in the challenge this week.

I think your set of cards is adorable and I can see with just a simple sentiment and a butterfly punch how this could be easy to put together too. How thoughtful of you to have cards ready to hand out to those who need a little pick me up.
