Hey There, Sunshine!

I stumbled across the Pile It On challenge the other day and decided to give a shot. The concept behind Pile It On is to incorporate their challenge with as many other current challenges as you'd like.

This week you had to use at least 3 embellishments--I used flowers, some AC flair, chipboard, and a rhinestone. I combined it with Cuttlebug Challenge #39--to use woodsy animals, natural elements and the colors orange, green, & blue. I used this Sassafras deer paper that I won from Moxie Fab World, embossed the green strip with my distressed stripes folder to mimic the texture of tree branches, and added the bird & flowers. Finally, I used this week's CPS sketch for my layout.

I'm not loving this card...hubby's only comment was, "It's busy." Ouch. Perhaps I should stick to one challenge at a time?

Accessories: Cuttlebug distressed stripes, flowers (Prima), chipboard (Making Memories), rhinestone (Me & My Big Ideas), flair (American Crafts)

    sometimes busy is a good thing! i think it's a true feat when you can combine so many challenges into one!!
    thanks for playing along at cuttlebug challenge - i love the way you used the colors and the smidge of embossing to mimic tree branches - so smart!

    Yes, it's busy, but it's also balanced...an amazing achievement with so much color and strong pattern, and so many elements! What a cheerful card that made me smile when I saw it!
