Back to School?!

Hey, all! Today's card uses this week's Card Patterns sketch. I decided to make a teacher-y card...and, yes, teacher-y is a word. I'm an English teacher, and I say it's a word. So there. Smileys

During the school year, I like to give co-workers cards, especially as the year drags on and people need a pick-me-up. So this little card will go into my stash for just such an occasion. I finally got to use my Papertrey Teacher's Apple set. Speaking of PTI, did anyone buy any of the new releases? I was a BAD girl and bought OODLES of goodies. Have you all seen the Button Bits set? Too stinkin' cute!

It's SO sad to think that in just a few more weeks I will be back at work--I don't wanna go to school! *stomps foot* I've really been enjoying being able to craft, blog, and blurf every day. When school starts up, I'll be lucky if I can do that a few days a week. Smileys
Stamps: Teacher's Apple (PTI)
Paper: Kraft, Very Vanilla, Real Red, October Afternoon dp
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red
Accessories: flower (Prima), glittered brads (Doodlebug), ribbon (Dollar Tree), Nestabilities Labels 1, MS scalloped dot punch, horizontal slot punch

I know there will be a teacher next school year that will smile all over their face when you give them this card. It's just perfect! I hate to see you go back to school too if it means you won't be posting as often. I LOVE popping in over here every day to see your newest creations. Have a great day :)
