Raspberry Tree

I loved the colors for this week's Raspberry Suite Color Challenge. I knew I wanted to do a simple card and really make the Raspberry Fizz pop, so this is what I came up with. What do you think?

We're heading up to Chicago today for a little weekend getaway. You won't even notice I'm gone, though. I have a post set for tomorrow, then I'll be back on Sunday night to announce this week's Sweet Summer Giveaway winner.

When hubby first told me why we were going on this trip (the US soccer team is playing Honduras in a World Cup qualifier), my response was, "Only if I get to go to Archiver's."

We're going to Archiver's on Sunday. Smart man.

Stamps: Tree (Imaginisce), Out on a Limb (PTI)
Paper: Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: ribbon (PTI), rhinestones (Kaisercraft), horizontal slot punch, dimensionals

This card made me gasp. Honestly, I LOVE it and must CASE it today. The layout is perfect, and I never would have come up with that arrangement...I'm timid that way, lol! It works so beautifully, and the colors definitely make the raspberry pop. Bravo!
