Here's what I came up with. This stamp reminded me of a vintage prom dress. I stamped it onto some vintage October Afternoon paper, then embossed it in black. I found this little white flower in my stash, and I squished it into my Pretty in Pink ink pad a few times to make it work. I outlined the whole layer with Cotton Candy Stickles.
So, what do you think? Is it vintage enough?
Stamps: dress (Inkadinkado), Mega Mixed Messages (PTI)
Paper: Kraft, Pink Pirouette, October Afternoon dp
Ink: Basic Black, Pretty in Pink, Versamark
Accessories: black ep, flower (Offray), Cotton Candy Stickles, dimensionals

Vintage is not my style either. And you certainly don't think vintage or collage or artsy when you think of CAS. But you found a great way to combine the two. This is a perfect image and stamped on the patterned paper gives the look of vintage without all the excess "visual clutter" normally associated with the style.
ReplyDeleteI love vintage and this is SWEET!
