Father

I still needed to make my FIL his Father's Day card, so when I saw this week's Raspberry Suite colors were green, black, and cream, I figured they'd be perfect for a masculine card.

I kept this one simple, since the men I know don't seem to like or appreciate the fussier cards. I did a bit of distressing, then added a few buttons.

Stop by tomorrow to see my project for the next Paper Blooms challenge. I'll have a Father's Day gift idea to share.

Stamps: Lovely as a Tree (SU), Mega Mixed Messages (PTI)
Paper: Naturals Ivory, Basic Black, Old Olive dp (SU)

Ink: Basic Black, Old Olive
Accessories: Nestabilities circles, distressing tool, buttons (BasicGrey)

  6. Oh so fabulous! Love the bit of distressing on the card...not too much, just right. And Lovely as a Tree is perfect for guy cards. I'm so glad SU didn't discontinue it because new stampers deserve to have easy access to such a versatile guy set! Thanks for showing me a new layout to use with it!
