No Matter...

My friend and SCS swaps hostess extraordinaire, Joni, has a challenge on her *new* blog called Super Challenge Saturday. Since Joni is so cool and sweet, I just had to play along!

This week's challenge was to create a card inspired by a kids' tv, book, or cartoon character. The character should not appear on the card, but the card should reflect the character's colors, personality and/or patterns. After lots of thought, I finally settled on good ole Eeyore.

I used the blues to represent his coloring, and the pink bow matches the one on his tail. I often see him pictured with butterflies, so I stamped this one from Verve's "Fluttering By." The sentiment is meant to be a little ironic: "Always look on the bright side of life," which is pretty much the opposite of Eeyore's views on the world. Ahhh, but I love him anyway!

Stamps: Fluttering By (Verve)
Paper: Brocade Blue, Bashful Blue, Regal Rose, Whisper White
Ink: Brocade Blue, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Cuttlebug Swiss Dots, ribbon (Michael's), dimensionals
