My Little Corner of Heaven

Over the past few months, I've spent time organizing my workspace. It's one half of the smallest bedroom in our house, but I made it work for me.

My wall o' ribbon is my favorite part of the entire room. My hubby just finished putting up the last IKEA rail the other day, so now it's complete, and I still have room for growth. (When I said that to him, he asked, "Why would you need room for growth?" Silly boy.)

On my desk, I have my tool caddy, which I bought at a Pampered Chef party a couple of years ago.
I also have my Ink Pad Palace from Mother Rubber Art Stamps. It's made of cardboard (didn't want to spend $$ on wood or the SU one) and has held up nicely for me.

On each side of my desk, I have a set of bookcases (also from IKEA). One holds all my stamps, and the other holds embellishments. Each type is separated into baskets, like this one filled with brads. It's easy to grab one off the shelf and see what I've got.

Here is my patterned paper storage. I store individual sheets in my Cropper Hopper vertical storage and pads in a 12x12 case I picked up at Michael's (Sorry, I forgot the brand name). As you can see, my Cropper Hopper doesn't hold the four sections like it's supposed to because I have just a bit too much paper. You'll also notice that the bin that holds my pads doesn't shut either. Yeah, one of my New Year's resolutions is to stop buying paper...either that, or buy more paper storage.

One thing I didn't take a photo of is my punch storage. I have one of those over the door shoe organizers like
this one.
I won't bore you with the rest of the details, but if you have questions about how my space is organized, please feel free to email me or leave me a comment.

I'm so jealous of your ribbon wall! I have a great space in our office but it has a mixed blessing. I have 1 side wall and 1/2 of the main wall to use for my stuff. The section of the main wall I have is all windows with a great view of the woods behind the house. Great view, no possible storage options. Definitely mixed.
