Quick Gift for a Friend

I altered this candle with some rub-ons as part of a package I'm putting together for a color swap. If you've never participated in a color swap, you should head over to the Splitcoast threads right now and sign up. In these swaps you choose a color you'd like to receive. Your secret friend will send you a box full of goodies in the color you requested. These swaps are SO fun to shop for and receive! This candle is the final touch on a package of purple goodies I'm getting ready to mail out to someone special...can't say who because she reads my blog! ;)

Accessories: rub-ons (SU), scented candle (Michael's)

ooooh! I've stamped on candles (actually on tissue paper that is melted onto the candle with a heat gun) but I've never used rubons. This looks great, especially with the contrast of white on that vibrant purple! Your secret friend is gonna love it!

Oh, I have a lot of those rub-ons left over. I'm going to have to try altering some candles. I think you did a great job! I'm off to check out the Color Burst Swap!
