Breakfast at Tiffany's

This week's Cinema Saturday challenge is featuring Breakfast at Tiffany's. This is such a fun, fashionable movie, I knew I'd have to play along. If you haven't visited Brooke & Sankari's blog yet, check it out. They feature a different movie each week to inspire you. Head over there and join in the fun!

The first things I think of when I recall Breakfast at Tiffany's are Audrey Hepburn and fashion, which finally gave me an excuse to ink up this dress. I wanted to keep the card simple, yet elegant, since that is how I'd describe Audrey Hepburn's style. I used black embossing powder and ribbon to represent Holly Golightly's little black dress, then mounted it on a Cool Caribbean panel, which I thought closely resembled the famous Tiffany blue. I finished it off with some clear rhinestones, because it's not Tiffany without the diamonds!

Stamps: Inkadinkado
Paper: Cool Caribbean, PTI white
Ink: Versamark
Accessories: black ep, ribbon (Michael's), ribbon slider & rhinestones (The Paper Studio), corner rounder punch

Wow Ann!! Your card is Fanta-bulous!!! (I know that you are an english teacher and that such a word as Fantabulous doesn't really exist - but after seeing your card - it exists now!!! And that's the word that kept popping in my mind! The Cool Caribbean panel is the perfect Tiffany blue and I love the dress paired with the bling from the ribbon slider and all those yummy rhinestones!

Thanks for joining in on the fun this week!!! I couldn't help myself with that sneak peek - I love love love that opening scene... sigh!

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend Ann!!
Can't wait to see your next yummy creation!!!
Best wishes from Iowa :)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Ann
I think my favorite part of the card is the choker. It really makes me want to get all dressed up and go to a musical or play... followed by a very elegant dinner of course. You have to love the old "Cool Caribbean" I think it was my favorite in-color for so long I have a whole pack of this paper I bought just before it retired... It's so YUMMY and "AUDREYlicous"

Thanks so much for playing along again.. I really enjoy your creations..
Hugs
Brooke
