For Laura's sketch this week over at 2 Sketches 4 You, I originally planned to do a masculine card. I chose the brown and green color scheme, but then I was stumped. It wasn't until I saw this little bird embellishment in my stash that I abandoned the masculine idea and added pink to the color scheme. Then the buttons, ribbon, and sentiment fell into place quickly. I really like this card. It's a nice blend of both masculine and feminine elements.Stamps: none
Paper: Close to Cocoa, Close to Cocoa dp, Holiday Treasures dp (SU)
Ink: none
Accessories: bird embellishment (American Crafts), felt letters (KI Memories), buttons (Oriental Trading Co.), ribbon (Dollar Tree)
This is darling! I love simple cards. The pink is just perfect with the brown & green.
