Cards for Heroes

You may have noticed a link in my sidebar called Cards for Heroes. This organization collects handmade cards to give to our troops, so soldiers can use them to send greetings to their loved ones back home. They also run a program called Operation Quiet Comfort, through which they accept get-well/thinking of you/thank-you type cards to cheer up injured soldiers.

This month on Splitcoast, they are running a new type of challenge. It's called Cards for a Cause and will highlight a different organization each month. This month it just happens to be Cards for Heroes. Please, if you have some free time, make a card or two for our brave men and women overseas. All the details can be found here. This is one small way we can use our God-given talents to help our troops. Thanks.
