This week's inspiration challenge came from Cupcakes of Vancouver. I used this cake as my starting point. I was inspired by the shape of the cake (is that obvious?) and the colors. I decided to go with a Chocolate Chip base so the cake itself would pop off the card. I used mostly punches on this card rather than stamping, although I did stamp a swirl from the Friendship Blooms set on the edge of each tier using white craft ink. I added bling to each flower to finish it off.
Stamps: Friendship Blooms (SU) Paper: Chocolate Chip, Barely Banana, Whisper White Ink: white craft Accessories: corner rounder punch, spring bouquet flower punch, rhinestones
Very pretty cake ... love the bling on your blooms.
